German-Portuguese Juliane Stolzenbach Ramos is a versatile and multilingual actress, singer, and performer with a diverse range of training and experience across stage, screen, and voice.
She is fluent in German, English, Spanish and Portuguese and conversational in French and Italian.
A SAG-AFTRA member since 2025, Juliane was nominated for Best Acting Lead Ensemble at the 48H Film Festival NYC 2024 for her role in Heavy Waters. She was also a Finalist at the international Lotte Lenya Competition in New York—a prestigious contest that celebrates the talents of singing actors from around the globe.
After a decade of professional stage experience as a singing actress all across Europe (see Soprano on this page), Juliane met her husband, en esteemed American TV director and producer and was inspired to branch out into on-screen acting, a long-held childhood dream.
She then made her screen debut in 2023 in Gastón (Un actor de mierda), a Spanish-language mini-series filmed in Madrid, Spain, directed by Mateo Franco.
After relocating to the United States, she has since cultivated her craft through advanced training at several of New York City’s top acting institutions:
After auditioning at HB Studio in 2024, she was placed directly into their advanced workshops, where she studied under respected instructors—most notably Carol Rosenfeld, whose teachings of Uta Hagen left a lasting impact.
Her on-camera skills have been sharpened in classes at Stella Adler Studio NYC and the weekly advanced class with Lisina Stoneburner of The Company Acting Studio, a highly sought-after on-set acting coach with whom she has worked for over a year.
One of her favorite genres is comedy: she trained in stand-up comedy with Rick Crohm with a final showcase at the Comedy Cellar and participated in physical comedy classes, further enhancing her comedic timing and range.
Last year she appeared in her first commercial, directed and produced by Myles Humphus.
To expand her vocal abilities beyond opera, she also studies musical theatre and pop singing with Mike Ruckles in NYC.
From an early age, Juliane immersed herself in the performing arts—taking acting workshops, performing in several school theater productions and studying various dance styles, and performing with a youth circus ensemble for several years.
She currently trains in Muay Thai boxing multiple times a week and has participated in several stunt workshops. When not acting, singing, or training in martial arts, she can often be found dancing Salsa, in which she holds an advanced level.
